The Great Gatsby Christmas Party in Manchester takes you back in time to the extravagant, glamorous world of the jazz age.
Expect flapper girls, feather boas, the red-hot rhythms of the speakeasy, casino tables, all-inclusive drinks… and feathers. Did we mention feathers?
You can leave the Rolls Royce Phantom at home. The Great Gatsby party is right in the heart of Manchester at the 4-star hotel The Midland, with great transport links. Or just stay put, relax and book an overnight stay.

As you make a grand entrance on the VIP red carpet, our flapper girls are there to greet you. Grab your glass of fizz, strike a pose for the photos, and preen those feathers.
It’s time to party like it’s 1922!
The doors open to an event space which rivals Jay Gatsby’s mansion. Golden decor, low lighting and luxurious Art Deco motifs.
Over a delicious 3-course dinner with all-inclusive drinks, our live singer performs modern classics… in 1920s style. Name that tune, anyone? And the 20s vintage vibe continues between courses as the flapper girls show off their best Charleston dance moves.

The all-inclusive drinks are flowing, dinner has been enjoyed… and the entertainment has only just begun.
The dance floor has now opened. The party band is on stage and it’s time to shake your tail feather. If you fancy taking a break from the dancing, try your luck at the Gatsby-style casino tables.

The 4-star party venue is the Midland Hotel, perfectly situated in the centre of Manchester. It has a gorgeous event space — one of the finest and most elegant banqueting halls in the city.
The transport links are excellent too. Manchester Oxford Road, Manchester Piccadilly and the St Peter’s Square metro stop are just a short walk away.

Please note that all shared parties run on a set menu. Dietary requirements must be submitted in advanced within the venues deadline.
STANDARD MENU:
- Hot smoked salmon terrine, pickled cucumber, watercress
- Roasted turkey, wrapped in Serrano ham with sage & onion stuffing, chipolatas, roasted potatoes, honey parsnips, confit carrots, green beans
- Chocolate delice vanilla cream, kirsch fruits
VEGETARIAN / VEGAN MENU:
- Celeriac soup, truffle oil
- Roasted butternut squash & spinach pithivier, mashed potato, tenderstem broccoli, vegetable gravy
- Christmas spiced panna cotta, ginger crumble, milled berries
Menus may change if certain ingredients are unavailable due to supply chain issues. We cater for all dietary requirements. Once you’ve booked, we’ll send you a function sheet so you can let us know about them. If anyone in your party requires Kosher food, please get in touch. It comes via a separate caterer and incurs an additional charge.
