Let’s party like it’s 1922!
The Great Gatsby Christmas Party in Cardiff transports you to the decadent, elegant world of the jazz age. Dress up, dust off the feather boa and let your hair down.
Expect flapper girls, Charleston dance moves, a 3-course dinner, unlimited drinks, red-hot rhythms, casino tables… and feathers. Did we mention feathers?
There’s no need for a Rolls Royce Phantom. The Great Gatsby party is in a prime city-centre location, The Mercure Cardiff Holland House Hotel, with great transport links.
What to expect at the Great Gatsby party in Cardiff
Our fully-costumed flapper girls are waiting to greet you with a glass of Prosecco as you make a grand entrance on the VIP red carpet.
While the bar starts serving all-inclusive drinks, the ballroom doors open to a gorgeously decorated event space complete with chandeliers, candlelight and art deco motifs.
Over a delicious 3-course dinner, our live singer is on stage to entertain you. They’re modern classics… but with a 1920s twist. Name that tune anyone?
Between courses, the flapper girls show off their best Charleston dance moves. Here’s the full Gatsby girl (and boy) line-up performing on stage in London.
The all-inclusive drinks are flowing, dinner has been enjoyed… and the entertainment has only just begun.
Our live party band takes to the stage, raising the tempo to dancing point with the best tunes from across the decades.
If you can resist the urge to shake your tail feather, try your luck at the casino tables where professional croupiers are handing out just-for-fun casino chips.

The Great Gatsby party in Cardiff takes place at The Mercure Cardiff Holland House Hotel, a 4-star luxury hotel in a prime city-centre location.
It’s easy to get there and back. Queen Street Rail Station is a 10-minute walk away.
It’s a great place for a party — chandeliers, glass panelling and dragon motifs adorn the event space. For a pre-party cocktail, we recommend the recently refurbished lounge bar.
If you fancy an overnight stay, the hotel has 172 comfortable bedrooms plus a leisure suite with jacuzzi, sauna, steam room, aerobics and fitness studio

- Ham hock, pickled carrot and mustard terrine with rosemary ciabatta
- Butter roast turkey, sage and cranberry stuffing, chipolata,
roasted potatoes and vegetables, pan roast jus - Baked vanilla cheesecake, berry compote
VEGETARIAN / VEGAN MENU:
- Tomato and mozzarella salad
- Spinach and pea arancini, rich tomato sauce, pecorino shavings
- Baked vanilla cheesecake, berry compote
Menus may change if certain ingredients are unavailable due to supply chain issues. We cater for all dietary requirements. Once you’ve booked, we’ll send you a function sheet so you can let us know about them. If anyone in your party requires Kosher food, please get in touch. It comes via a separate caterer and incurs an additional charge.

Premium ticket includes unlimited wine, beer and soft drinks and 5 tokens
(tokens redeemable for a glass of prosecco or single spirits with out without mixers)
